40’S SOMETHINGS

REAL STORIES. REAL LAUGHS. REAL LIFE IN YOUR 40S.

HOSTED BY

SIMPLEE BREE

I’m Simplee Bree — host of 40’s Somethings on YouTube, where we have real stories, real laughs, and real life in your 40s.

We are mothers. We are women. And not everyone here is a mother — but everyone is a woman figuring out this life in her 40s, together.

For years, I was “mom first.” Now my son is grown, and I’m learning to be Bree again — and I’m bringing other women along with me. That’s what 40’s Somethings is about: time coming back, dating in your 40s, money and career after the mom-first years, your mind and your body changing, and becoming yourself again without guilt.

I’m solution-driven, so 40’s Somethings is growing into real conversations with women who specialize in the things we’re actually navigating — finances, time management, health & wellness, mind & life, and dating & starting over — for soft solutions and coaching you can take with you. The first conversations are being scheduled now.

MEET BREE

I’ve been passionate about writing since I was very young. My first writing gig was at a printed publication called “Committed Magazine,” where I interviewed musicians, and after relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in 2014, I continued to follow that passion into writing and broadcasting — joining “The Cyphers Den” and the “A++” writing team, and volunteering in my community. I believe in being a listening ear and a sense of guidance for people who need support, so they can grow stronger.

I am the mother of a grown son, and I know how helpful it is to have someone to listen when you need support — and how important it is to share. I was formerly the CEO of the He Said What Network, which began in 2020. Today, you can find me here blogging about real life experiences, and on YouTube hosting 40’s Somethings.
